Nothing Much

Today has been pretty uneventful in the fight against cancer.  I scheduled my port placement and bone marrow tap for Friday of this week.  I am not afraid of much, but needles are not to fun.  I do look forward with hesitant anticipation to the thought of being sedated.  I have never experienced that in the past, so it will be interesting.  Well, that is all for now.

  1. The sedation is going to be nothing at all...I promise. You'll just close your eyes and count and the next thing you know you'll be waking up and Misty will take you home for lunch. :-)

  2. Trin,

Yeah, you'll get there and and when you wake up, you'll be wondering when it's going to happen. It'll be like...
"Hello!" "It's already done!" And you've just been to La la land! And remember, no driving for 24 hrs. That's what really hurts! Oh, one more thing. The needle problem, it'll help if you don't watch! Look away and try to focus on something else! Thank goodness those needles only hurt for a moment!
    Love ya!

  3. Trin,

You will do fine, One moment you are talking to the doctors and the next you are in the recovery room. Needles, well try to not watch and think about Misty, the kids and your favorite place in world.

    Lots of love,
    Holly
