"Kiss my grits"

Well as many of you know this weekend was tons of fun, I got to spend my night with the friendly staff at Moffitt Cancer Center last night.  They are very accommodating they even had a clean bed ready for me when I arrived.  It appears that I just got a bit of the flu or a cold just like anyone else, except with chemo they freak out and want you to be under watch.  I still am convinced that this is just an attack from satan and I have news for him, in the eloquent words of Flo, satan you can kiss my grits.

  1. Hey, babe, I am sooooo glad you are home!! I knew you were tough! The enemy needs to remember that you are in God's army and he has to deal with not just you, but all of the angels and saints that make up God's army, not to mention the One who heads up that Army! You are covered, and not one of arrows can penetrate the armor of God that cloaks you! And that, my boy, makes you a conquerer! If David could defeat Goliath, then you can beat this giant! Now, you rest up and enjoy your family. I am so glad you are back! I miss you and I love you. There are prayer warriors from all denominations lifting you up in prayer! You can't lose! By the way, I always liked that show! Flo was a riot! Take care!

  2. Hey Trin, I know you and Misty haven't been feeling your best and I know Misty works some pretty late hours. Wondered who was doing the cooking and since Omaha Steaks is running some good sales, would some meals from them be helpful?
Talked with Kendra and kept her awake until she got home from her Birthday shopping trip.
Guess it's the Grandma Francis in me... always worried about if you have your meals. Your Mom got her gypsy blood. teehee

  6. Yes, you are truly whipping up on some devil butt, for sure. He's lost the fight on this issue but for a while he's just kicking and screaming to try to delay his inevitable permanent punishment. You'll have a few more months to enjoy torturing him until the battle is over once and for all and you are CANCER FREE! IT'S COMING! GET READY, GET READY, GET READY!

  7. Hey, I'm a friend of Deanna's. You gotta love Moffit, hate the circumstances, but they are the best docs around. My father in law was a patient there. He was taking an experimental chemo, so he had to be there for a week every month. He would order in pizza, and have all the docs and nurses in his room to watch any game on. lol
    I'm praying for ya.
