Wow?!
Yesterday was the start of the journey of a lifetime. The thoughts and preparation of this journey had been worked through for the past several weeks. My journey started with a call from the doctor, he said that the biopsy from two days before had shown results of Hodgkin's Disease. Wow, what a day. The news wasn't as devastating as I had presumed that it would have been, the day from that point seemed so surreal almost numbing. I spent the remainder of the day comforting others about my diagnosis, not even worrying as I thought that I would. There has never been a time where I have backed down from anything, I have always stood my ground; so I have decided that I would not change who I am because of a disease. My faith is strong that the God who saved me from my sins can also heal me from my sicknesses. I have always said that I believe in a God that heals, saves, and delivers; I guess it is time to put my money where my mouth is. So cancer, if you want to fight I have three words for you "BRING IT ON!" because my God is bigger than the both of us and with Him fighting my fight you have no chance!

Pastor Deanna sent me this way. I've got to say that is a great attitude! I also work in kids ministry and will be praying with and for you and Misty:-)
ReplyDeleteDear Trinity
ReplyDeleteWe at Bay Life will be praying for you, and the kids you minister to. God is big and He can do anything! We downloaded your e-mail and blog and will send out the information to my kids who get my e-newsletter, they know how to pray and reach our Heavenly Father for others. If there is anything we can do for you let us know. Love Rich & Paula Becker
Hey Trinity!
ReplyDeleteDeanna told me in an email, and asked me to pray. I got the link to your blog via her blog.
I sent some stuff to her to give to you. :0)
Tim and I have been be praying for you and Misty since the news. We have others who don't know you, but are praying. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you guys!
BTW- are you going to say something to our friends in Ozark? (Stine's, Roten's) The more praying, the better. One can never have too many prayers!
((Hugs)) and Prayers! Your old friend and neighbor ~Sharon~
Hey Pastor T ~
ReplyDeleteAs you can see I'm doing my job getting the word out to bombard heaven on your behalf! You have many in the body of Christ who are praying for you that you don't even know. This disease doesn't have a chance!
Love you
I know you are a guy... but just know PD has called on the prayers of her sistas who are pulling off their high heels and earrings to war in prayer on your behalf! We're with you!
ReplyDeleteWe KNOW that God can heal you--He's done it for others and we're going to agree in prayer with you. Though it's very cold and snowy here in the Cleveland, Ohio area, we're sending warm wishes, a big hug, and the promise of faith-filled prayers!

That's my boy! I used to pick you up when you were hurt and hold you until it was all better. I am glad you have a big father in heaven that can do that now. You are too big for me to pick up and his arms are strong enough to reach around each of us. Keep looking up! I love you - Mom
ReplyDeleteYou are in my prayers!!!
ReplyDelete-A fellow CP from the snowy Midwest :o).
I am with you in this 100% my friend. We all will stand with you against this assault until victory is manifested with a total healing in your body. God allowed this to happen and will use it for his glory! Jesus, who name is above ANY disease, be praised for the great work that he will do.

ReplyDeleteBill Letaw emailed asked me to post the following comment as he tried but does not have an account to post a comment.
Here is his comment:
Talk about community, talk about fusion, this unified front (the prayers of the faithful and the BLOOD of Jesus) will buckle the knees of the adversary. Victory is on the way! You and your family are loved.
